Terms of Service

Last updated September 28, 2026

These are the terms for using afewpics. By creating an account or signing in, you're agreeing to them. If something here doesn't match how the app actually behaves, the app's actual behavior is what matters, and you can always reach out at the email below.

What afewpics is

A weekly reminder to send a few photos to a small circle of people, and to get a few back. If you connect Google, afewpics builds a draft in your own Gmail, photos attached, your circle already BCC'd. It never sends anything on its own. You review the draft and hit send yourself, or you don't.

Your account

  • You need a real email address to sign up, either with a password or through Google.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account.
  • One account per person. Don't create accounts to impersonate someone else or to get around a limit.

Your content

You own the photos you upload and the messages you send. Using afewpics just means you're letting the app handle them temporarily, to build your draft and show you your own weekly grid, described in full in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for what you upload and send: don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, or anything illegal, harassing, or intended to hurt someone.

Your circle

Add people you actually know. The “ask first” flow exists so someone can opt in themselves rather than being BCC'd without asking, use it when you're not sure. Don't use afewpics to send unwanted mail to people who haven't agreed to be in your circle.

Ending your account

You can disconnect Google at any time from your account page, and can request that your account and data be deleted entirely by emailing sharataka@gmail.com. An account that violates these terms, particularly the “your circle” section above, can be suspended or removed.

No warranty

afewpics is a small, independently run project, provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It's not liable for lost data, missed reminders, or anything sent (or not sent) through your own Gmail account. Use your own judgment before hitting send on anything.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, the date at the top of this page will change.
